CENTERVILLE, Utah, Sept. 9, 2020 (Gephardt Daily) — Centerville City is opening three green waste dump sites for storm cleanup Wednesday.

“These sites will be open today from about 12 p.m. to 8 p.m, if conditions allow,” said a Facebook post from Centerville Police Department. “We will continue monitoring conditions and will notify residents through social media of any changes.”

The dump sites throughout the city will be for green waste only. Dump site locations will be at the following:

• Smoot Park lower parking lot at 1550 N. 200 West
• Freedom Hills Park parking lot at 2150 N. 150 East
• The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints north parking lot at 270 N. 300 East

There will be no pickup by ACE on Wednesday, so officials ask that residents do not put trash out. “ACE disposal is postponing trash pickup by two days,” the post said.

Centerville residents and businesses are also being asked to submit their structural and/or landscape damage to the city. Please take pictures and email them to [email protected] with the following information: your name, phone number, address, and estimated cost of damage.

“This information will help us get an estimated cost of damages throughout the city,” the post said.
