CLEARFIELD, Utah, Aug. 13, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are searching for a suspect after a hit-and-run crash in Clearfield Tuesday afternoon.

“Police are responding and collecting statements from a hit-and-run accident on Main Street and 1600 North,” said a tweet from Clearfield Police Department at 3:45 p.m.

The occupant of the car that was hit was able to get a full license plate number from the car that fled the scene. The plate has been traced and contact is being attempted, the tweet said.

It’s not clear at this early stage whether anyone was injured in the crash.
