DAVIS COUNTY, Utah, July 30, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — Rescue crews brought a husband and wife out of Farmington Canyon after the two fell about 40 feet Sunday evening.
Sgt. Josh Boucher, of the Davis County Sheriff’s Office, told Gephardt Daily the couple fell at about 6 p.m. near the waterfall at the Davis Creek Trail. They were out with family members, including older teens.
Boucher said the wife, who is about 43 years old, was unconscious at the waterfall. She was flown by helicopter out of the canyon and to the hospital at about 7:14 p.m. Her husband, who is about the same age, was transported to the hospital by ambulance, Boucher said.
Initial reports indicated that the woman had a serious head injury, but Boucher had no information regarding the extent of injuries or the condition of either person.
