IRON COUNTY, Utah, Sept. 5, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Crews are battling a wildfire near Lund in Iron County Thursday evening.

A tweet from Utah Fire Info at 8 p.m. said the blaze, which has been named the Neck Fire, is burning 15 miles west of Lund, a small unincorporated village located in the Escalante Valley.

The fire, which is zero percent contained, is approximately 3,500 acres.

Multiple resources are on scene, the tweet said.

There are no closures as a result of the fire and no structures have been damaged or lost.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
