SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah, Sept. 22, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Fire crews are on the scene of a brush fire near 3900 South and Jordan River Parkway, on the west side of the waterway.

Keith Garner, spokesman for the Unified Fire Authority, said no structures are threatened, and as of 3:45 p.m., the fire was close to being under control. He said the cause was unknown, and he could not estimate the size of the fire, other than saying it “was small.”

Garner said two engines and two small-brush trucks were sent to the scene. Agencies responding besides the U.F.A. were South Salt Lake and West Valley City fire departments.
