EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah, Oct. 9, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — An Eagle Mountain man has been charged with multiple felonies related to crimes against a child.

John Tyler Hill, 39, is charged with three counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child, a first-degree felony; and three counts of lewdness involving a child, a class A misdemeanor.

A probable cause statement filed in the case says the victim, in her early teens, told a therapist about the abuse, and said the man’s inappropriate behavior began when she was in the fifth grade.

The victim said the Hill exposed himself to her, touched her inappropriately, performed lewd sexual acts in front of her, caused her to touch him, and gave her alcohol from what she thought was a cup of soda.

Hill was booked into jail on Friday. His bail was set at $50,000.
