DRAPER, Utah, Oct. 31, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Unified Fire Authority responded to a commercial structure fire in the area of 12300 South and 700 East very early Monday.
UFA spokesman Taylor Sandstrom said neighbors called at about 12:30 a.m., reporting flames and smoke at Quality Muffler and Brake, 12258 S. 700 East.
When firefighters arrived, they found a shed that was burning, but the building housing the business was unaffected. The flames were quickly put out, Sandstrom said, but power lines were down, so firefighters remained on scene until Rocky Mountain Power was able to come out and take care of the lines.
Sandstrom said the shed was a total loss.
There were no injuries, and no dollar estimate of damage was available.
