GARLAND, Utah, Aug. 16, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) — Firefighters responding to a report of a vehicle fire in Garland Friday found five burning.
“At approximately 8:53 a.m. today, Box Elder Communications Center received a 911 call reporting a vehicle fire in the parking lot of the Lake Shore Learning Factory in Garland,” the Garland Fire Department said online Friday afternoon.
The department’s Engine 41 responded immediately to the scene, where Tremonton Garland Police Department personnel reported that multiple vehicles were involved.
“Given the rapidly developing conditions, mutual aid was requested, and a responding engine from Tremonton Fire Department was dispatched to assist.”

Crews worked quickly and effectively to contain and extinguish the fire, successfully preventing it from spreading to additional vehicles and the adjacent facility, Garland fire said.
“A total of five vehicles were involved, with three suffering extensive damage.”
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
“We would like to express our appreciation to the Tremonton-Garland Police Department, Tremonton Fire Department, and Box Elder County Communications Center for their coordination and assistance during this incident,” the news release says.
“We also want to thank our very own firefighters for dropping everything at a moment’s notice to help out our communities. Your professionalism shows and goes a long way.”
