GLEN CANYON NATIONAL RECREATION AREA, Ariz./Utah, Feb. 25, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Visitors to Glen Canyon National Recreation Area are advised that the south entrance to Wahweap is being closed through mid-March beginning Tuesday.

The south entrance of Glen Canyon, which in all encompasses the area around Lake Powell and lower Cataract Canyon in Utah and Arizona, will be closed through March 15, according to a news release from the National Park Service.

“The closure is due to an ongoing construction project taking place along Lakeshore Drive,” the news release said “Visitors will need to use the north entrance to access the park. The park apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.”
