HURRICANE, Utah, May 2, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Somehow the single occupant of what became the metal wreckage of a former vehicle walked away after crashing on I-15.
“Last night, just after 10:30 p.m., Station 43 was dispatched to a vehicle accident on I-15 northbound at mile marker 27,” Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue reported online Thursday afternoon.
Three emergency units responded to the scene from Station 43.
A single vehicle was involved that had rolled over and hit the metal guardrail, Hurricane said in the matter-of-fact build-up to the press release climax:
“The guardrail had penetrated through the engine compartment and into the passenger compartment.”
But wait, there’s more: “There was one occupant in the vehicle, and no injuries were reported.”
