Dozens of guns stolen in Bountiful pawn shop burglary, $5K reward offered

BOUNTIFUL, Utah, Oct. 15, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the burglars who broke into a Bountiful pawn shop.

Pawn Depot, 631 S. 500 West, was burglarized at about 3:30 a.m. Oct. 11,  a Bountiful Police Department news release states.

At least two suspects broke in and stole more than two dozen handguns. The suspects were caught on surveillance video entering the store and removing the guns.

Bountiful detectives and ATF agents are seeking the public’s help in identifying the burglars and recovering the weapons before they can be used in a crime.
