HEBER CITY, UTAH – July 27, 2015 (Geparhdt Daily) – Heber City Police updated their status July 23 that a man who had been missing since July 14, 2015 had safely returned home.
According to police, Cody Lewis went missing after learning of his grandfather’s death and he said he was planning on going hiking with his two dogs.
According to a friend’s post on Facebook, Cody did not used any of his credit cards nor did he reach out to anyone the whole time he was gone. They also had considered that he may have gone to SLC but were skeptical because there had been zero bank activity and if he had been with people in the city he most likely would have used his card to eat.
Friends were aware that Cody liked to spend time by himself in the hills surrounding Heber and Park City. “He is almost always outside doing something with his dogs and his family,” said a family friend. Search parties looked for his truck at various trailheads around Heber and Park City.
