Police looking for suspect in robbery of hot dog chain restaurant

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Nov. 22, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are looking for a man who reportedly robbed a Salt Lake City hot dog chain restaurant Monday evening.

The SLC Police Department said in a news release that the incident happened at approximately 7:20 p.m. when the suspect entered the Wienerschnitzel located at 1405 S. 300 West and asked about a job.

The suspect then demanded cash and threatened to pull a weapon, however no weapon was seen. He then left the restaurant with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect left the area and has not been located. He is described as black, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 140 pounds, with acne scars, wearing a dark colored beanie with light colored horizontal stripes, a large red jacket, a gray hoodie, a white T-shirt and jeans.
