KEARNS, Utah, June 4, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Unified Police investigators are trying to establish a motive in a pair of Kearns drive-by shootings that targeted the same house twice in a span of about 25 hours.

The first attack took place early Sunday morning about 2 a.m. when police say at least four shots were fired at the home from a passing vehicle.

No one inside the residence, at 5063 W. Jarred Ave. (6100 South), was hit, but bullet holes were found in the front of the house and in at least one window.

Monday morning about 3 a.m. shots rang out a second time, with witnesses saying at least four more shots were fired at the home.

It’s unclear if anyone was inside the house during Monday morning’s shooting although there were no reports of injuries.

Police say they’re reviewing video from private security cameras in the area which may show the vehicle from which the shots were fired.
