WCSO asking for public’s help after theft of all-terrain vehicle

WEST HAVEN, Utah, April 30, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — The Weber County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help after the theft of a blue 2018 Polaris RZR spotted early Tuesday morning in West Haven.

“The vehicle was reported stolen at 0235 hours and was later spotted at Maverik (2550. S 1900 West) at 0253 hours,” the WCSO statement says.

“We have surveillance footage of a male suspect leaving the stolen vehicle to purchase $10 worth of gas. Although we captured the primary suspect’s image, there was a second occupant for whom we couldn’t obtain clear visuals. The stolen vehicle was observed driving recklessly in the parking lot before fleeing from Roy PD. Despite our efforts, we were unable to locate it.”

The Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to review the photos, above.
