LINDON, Utah, April 28, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Henry B. Eyring, First Counselor in the First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will dedicate the Lindon Utah Temple on Sunday.

The dedication ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. MDT and will be broadcast to all congregations within the temple district.

Public tours of the space concluded April 11, but interested parties can still view a video of the rooms, below.

President Russell M. Nelson announced the temple’s building in October of 2020.

“Whatever your challenges, my dear brothers and sisters, live each day so that you are more prepared to meet your Maker,” said Nelson, who died Sept. 27, 2025. “That is why we have temples. The Lord’s ordinances and covenants prepare us for eternal life, the greatest of all of God’s blessings.”
