Logan 16-year-old arrested after allegedly bringing gun into school

LOGAN, Utah, Oct. 7, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Police took a 16-year-old male into custody after he allegedly brought a gun to a Logan high school.

Logan City Police and Principal Jill Lowe from Fast Forward High School received information regarding a student with a gun at the school, said a tweet from officials Monday afternoon. The charter school is located at 875 W. 1400 North in Logan.

“Logan officers were able to take the 16-year-old male into custody, off campus, and retrieve the weapon,” the tweet said.

No other details were immediately provided about the incident.
