HIGHLAND, Utah, Jan. 8, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Lone Peak police are searching for the owner of a backpack — found with a handgun inside.
A Facebook post from the department said someone found the backpack in Highland in the middle of the intersection of Alpine Highway and Timpanogos Highway, and turned it into police.
“If it’s yours and thought you had lost it forever, we do have it,” the post said. “Obviously you will have to describe the backpack and the other contents that were inside said backpack before we can release those.
“You will also have to provide proof of ownership of the handgun before we can release that.”
