Man Killed In Box Elder County Truck Crash
BOX ELDER COUNTY, UTAH – July 2, 2015 – (Gephardt Daily) – Utah Highway Patrol has confirmed a man was killed around 9:00 Thursday morning after colliding head on with a semi-truck
According to the UHP, the man was driving a 1997 Green Subaru Legacy eastbound on SR-13 just east of the Bear River Bridge when he crossed into the path of a 2015 westbound Freight-liner.
The driver of the Subaru was not wearing a seat belt and killed instantly. He has been identified as Jordan R Hales of Willard.
The driver and co-driver of the semi were not injured.
SR-13 was closed until 12:00 when the vehicles and debris could be cleared and the crash investigated.
