Man Killed in Tooele Accident After Hitting Parked Car
TOOELE, UTAH – June 22, 2015 ( Gephardt Daily) – A Tooele man has died and another was injured after his vehicle hit a parked car and rolled Monday afternoon.
According to Tooele City Police Department they responded to a traffic accident at 345 S. Tooele Blvd where a red Ford Mustang that was traveling north on Tooele Blvd struck a curb before striking an unoccupied, parked vehicle. The impact of the crash caused the Mustang to roll and ejected the driver.
The driver, identified as Brian Bell, 42, died at the scene.
A teenage passenger in the vehicle was transported to Mountain West Medical Center and has since been treated and released from the Hospital. Information on the passenger has not been released by police.
Speed is believed to be a factor in the crash and it does not appear that the driver was properly restrained in a seat belt.
