Man killed, Woman Injured in Motorcycle Accident in Utah County
UTAH COUNTY – MAY 4th, 2015 (GEPHARDT DAILY) – One man has died and a woman is in critical condition after their motorcycle crashed on northbound on SR-68 at Milepost 12.
According to Utah Highway Patrol, the motorcycle Patrick Killian and Jeana Stubbs were riding left its lane, colliding with a barbed wire fence.
The driver, 47-year-old Killian, was pronounced dead at the scene. Stubbs, the female passenger, was taken to Mountain View Hospital and has been reported as having a broken arm.
Both driver and passenger were wearing helmets. Speed is currently being investigated as a contributing factor.
The two had just became engaged over Easter Weekend.
