UPDATE: Sibling Charged In SLC Knife Attack
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – July 13, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – A Salt Lake City man is in critical condition after being stabbed by his brother Saturday afternoon.
According to SLCPD, the two brothers got into a fight outside the apartments at 1300 N. 1720 West around 2:15 p.m. When it was over, one of the brothers was in critical condition with a stab wound to the chest.
Sunday afternoon, police investigators arrested Rayford Benally, 24, on charges of domestic violence related to aggravated assault, evidence tampering and possession of marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms.
Police have yet to identify his wounded brother.
Detectives are still trying to determine the cause of the stabbing. Their investigation is ongoing.
