Motorcyclist transported to hospital after crash in West Jordan

WEST JORDAN, Utah, Oct. 8, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — West Jordan police officers responded to two accidents within about a half-hour Tuesday night, both at 9000 S. Redwood Road.

The first, at 7:17 p.m. on the east side of the road, was a minor fender-bender with no injuries, West Jordan Police Sgt. Dan Roberts said.

The second, at about 7:40 p.m. on the west side of Redwood, involved a motorcyclist who was injured when a driver making a left turn failed to see him.

Roberts said the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet and had non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to the hospital by ground ambulance.

No further information was available regarding the man’s condition.

Police are advising drivers to stay alert and be aware of their surroundings at all times.
