SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, April 7, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Southbound Interstate 15 has reopened after a motorcycle crash Tuesday afternoon near downtown.
Sgt. Silva, Utah Highway Patrol, said it was a single vehicle accident, at about 1:45 p.m., and its cause is under investigation. It happened near mile marker 306, he said.
The rider, a man believed to be about 30, was transported by ambulance to a nearby the hospital in stable condition, Silva said.
“The lanes were temporarily closed, but all are now reopened,” Silva said.
