MURRAY, Utah, March 15, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Firefighters in Murray are trying to determine the cause of an overnight church fire.
Crews were first called to the Southeast Christian Church, at 1801 S. Vine St., at about 2 a.m. Tuesday. When they arrived, they found light smoke throughout the building.
Investigators at the scene told Gephardt Daily that a small fire discovered in a restroom area was quickly extinguished. Its cause had yet to be determined.
Damage to the building was described as minimal.
