WEST VALLEY CITY/ COMPTON, UTAH – August 18, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Approximately 686 customers are without power, down from 2,486 earlier in West Valley City and Taylorsville because of a car crash in the area, according to Rocky Mountain Power.
UDOT reported that a crash at Redwood Road at 4100 S. West Valley closed the road in all directions. The road is now open, but the power is out so it needs to be treated as a four-way stop.
The zip codes affected by the power outage are 84129 and 84123 and the estimated time of restoration is 1 p.m.
