WEST HAVEN, Utah, June 5, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — A North Ogden man was killed Friday morning following a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of northbound Interstate 15 and 2100 South in West Haven.

According to the Weber County Sheriff’s Office, the crash was reported at 7:33 a.m. when emergency operators received reports of a collision involving two pickup trucks at an intersection near the northbound I-15 on-ramp.

A white 1998 Dodge 1500 pickup was traveling west on 2100 South while a black 2022 Ford F-350 pickup was traveling east, the WCSO said. The Ford began making a left turn to enter the northbound I-15 on-ramp, and the two vehicles collided.

The impact caused the Dodge to leave the roadway and roll over, coming to rest on its roof.

Medical personnel found the Dodge driver, identified as Paul Herrera, 62, was the vehicle’s sole occupant. Despite life-saving measures, Herrera was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver and lone occupant of the Ford F-350 was uninjured.

The Weber Metro C.R.A.S.H. Team responded to help with the investigation.
