SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Nov. 30, 2020 (Gephardt Daily) — Officials are searching for a suspect after a man was shot in the leg in Salt Lake City early Sunday morning.
Officers were dispatched to a call of shots fired in the area of 1522 S. State St. at approximately 2:44 a.m., according to a watch log from Salt Lake City Police Department.
“Witnesses stated that the victim was leaving in a vehicle,” the watch log says. “Officers stopped the vehicle, located the victim and applied a tourniquet to the man’s leg until medical personnel arrived.”
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A suspect has not been located at this time; officials have not released a description of that individual.
