SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah, June 10, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Witnesses called dispatchers to report an erratic driver just moments before an Ogden man rolled his vehicle and died Friday afternoon in Summit County.

Utah Highway Patrol said the accident happened on I-80 at 4:41 p.m. when 37-year-old Nicholas P. Accordino was driving westbound at mile post 173 near Coalville.

Witnesses had just reported that a man in a 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse was driving erratically down the freeway when the car left the roadway to the left and rolled.  Accordino was the only occupant of the vehicle and was ejected through the back window.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated and it is not known if drugs or alcohol were factors.
