SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, June 14, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — A paraglider who crashed on Living Room Trail last Wednesday evening has died.
Sawyer Gordon, 22, from Jackson Hole, died Sunday from injuries sustained in the accident.
Gordon was studying electrical engineering and physics at the University of Utah.
Audra Sorensen, spokeswoman for Salt Lake City Fire Department, told Gephardt Daily that the injured paraglider was carried down by crews and transported to the U. of U. hospital by Life Flight.
Living Room Trail is just southeast of the Natural History Museum of Utah and Red Butte Garden.
