Two in critical condition after crash in Payson

PAYSON, Utah, Sept. 5, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Two people are in critical condition after a crash in Payson on Monday afternoon.

Fire officials, along with Payson police, were called to the intersection of 1270 W. 800 South for a two-car crash, where a vehicle had rolled at approximately 2 p.m., according to a news release from Payson Fire Rescue.

The crash resulted in four patients being transported to Mountain View Hospital in Payson.

One patient was ejected and another patient had to be extricated from the rolled car. Both were in critical condition when transported.

The other two patients suffered minor injuries in the crash, but it was not clear from initial reports which vehicle they were travelling in.

The cause of the crash is not known at this time.
