Police Arrest Man on Suspicion of Narcotic Distribution

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – July 20, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Salt Lake City police department made an arrest Saturday after a man was observed making a drug sale at 475 W. 200 South at around 5:30 p.m.

When officers made contact with him the suspect attempted to flee and then fought with officers. A Taser was used to gain control of the man. Officers searched the suspect and located multiple balloons of heroin and cocaine. Officers booked Daniel Vasquez, 28, for resisting arrest and possession of heroin and cocaine with intent to distribute.
