SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Sept. 24, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly stole property including a debit card from a victim at gunpoint in downtown Salt Lake City in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The incident occurred in the area of 309 E. 400 South just before 5 a.m., the Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news release.
“A man approached another male and pointed a handgun at him,” the news release said. “The victim gave the suspect his property and the suspect fled on a lime green colored scooter. The victim’s debit card was used at a nearby location.”
The suspect, who has not been located, is described as Caucasian, with a bandanna covering his face, and possibly longer blond hair covered by a hoodie.
