Police Seek Aggravated Robbery Suspects After Stun Gun Used on Shop Owner

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – July 27, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Police are searching for two suspects after an armed robbery at a bicycle shop turned violent.

Two men entered the Bicycle Center at 2200 S. 700 East Thursday at 6:24 p.m. The owner later observed some items were missing from the store and attempted to stop the two suspects as they were leaving the store.

One of the suspects used a stun gun on the owner to escape. The suspects were last seen leaving east on the Sugarhouse Trolley tracks. Suspect one is described as a Hispanic male, 25 years old, 5 feet 5 inches, 140 lbs., with short black hair, wearing a white tank top and gray pants. Suspect two is described as a white male, wearing a white T-shirt and long blue basketball shorts.
