RIVERDALE, Utah, June 6, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — A Ram truck pulling a 32-foot recreational vehicle Friday afternoon ran into the back of a white Hyundai and a black Volkswagen Friday afternoon as traffic slowed at Interstate 15 northbound near Riverdale.
The collision happened at about 2:52 p.m. near exit 339.
“Traffic was heavy at the time, and preliminary indicators suggest the truck was traveling too fast for both the road conditions and the size of the vehicle combination,” a Utah Highway Patrol statement says.
“The impact pushed both cars into surrounding traffic, resulting in a chain-reaction crash that involved a total of nine vehicles.”
