RIVERTON, Utah, Aug. 18, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — Riverton residents are being warned of possible flooding Wednesday afternoon.
“FLOODING ADVISORY: Due to the ongoing rain, flooding is possible in certain areas of Riverton,” said a Facebook post from Riverton City. “Water is accumulating on roadways, so please take extra care to slow down. Be safe everyone!”
Officials said the flooding is mainly along creek and canal corridors, but storm drains in some areas are backing up so water is flowing into the street.
