Salt Lake City firefighters suffer minor injuries in crash

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, March 8, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — Two Salt Lake City firefighters were injured after a car collided with a Salt Lake City fire engine Monday afternoon.

The incident happened in front of Fire Station #6 at 948 W. 800 South, according to a tweet by SLCFD.

“The engine was sitting on the apron at the fire station when the accident occurred. Two firefighters were transported to a local hospital with minor injuries,” the tweet said.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital by a family member. There was no word on the driver’s condition.

No other details were immediately provided.
