SLC Police Seek Armed Man Who Robbed Baskin-Robbins

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, May 23, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Police in Salt Lake City are looking for a man who robbed a Baskin-Robbins at gunpoint Monday afternoon.

Salt Lake Police Det. Cody Lougy said a call came in at 3:54 p.m. saying a man had entered the Baskin-Robbins at 576 E. 400 South, pulled out a black handgun, and demanded cash.

The suspect then left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash and ran in an unknown direction.

Lougy said the suspect is described as Hispanic, approximately 45 years old, with a heavy build. He was wearing an orange shirt, blue jeans and a camouflage hat with a Chevy emblem.
