SLCPD Seeks Help To Identify Strong-arm Robbery Suspect

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – September 30, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — Authorities are requesting the public’s help to identify a robbery suspect who threw a female clerk to the floor in a Salt Lake laundry business.

SLCPD said in a statement a man entered a laundry business, the Century Cleaning Barn, at 910 West North Temple, Wednesday, September 23, 2015, at 10:30 p.m. While the female clerk was distracted the man grabbed her from behind, threw her to the floor, took money from the register and fled out the west door. The victim reported that the suspect smelled strongly of alcohol and cigarettes.

The suspect is described as a dark skinned male adult, 5′ 7″, 190 lbs., with a slight mustache with some gray. The suspect was wearing a dark hoodie with white lettering spelling CALI on the front with more white letters under spelling FOR, a dark baseball cap, baggy, dark-colored Levi’s and white athletic shoes.
