SLCPD Seeks Identity of Suspect in Bank Robbery

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – July 30, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — The Salt Lake City Police Department asks the community’s help in identifying and locating a suspect in a bank robbery.

At approximately 9:30 a.m. yesterday morning a man entered the Wells Fargo bank branch at 1710 S. Redwood Road, indicated he had a weapon and demanded money. The teller complied and the suspect fled westbound along 1700 S. No one was injured.  The suspect may have been seen fleeing in a light colored, 90’s model truck with silver chrome.

The suspect is described as a possible Hispanic male adult, approximately 30 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall with a thin build, last seen wearing a tan baseball cap with U. of U. logo, tan button up shirt, black undershirt, dark colored jeans rolled up at the bottom, athletic shoes, backpack and sunglasses

The Police Department asks anyone who may know the identity and/or location of this suspect to call (801) 799-3000. Anonymous tips may be sent by text to 274637.
