OAKLEY, Utah, May 3, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — The South Summit Fire District was called in Friday afternoon after a pile burn went out of control and spread, resulting in a brush fire.
“Around 2:20 this afternoon, South Summit Fire District responded to an escaped pile burn near New Lane and Boulderville Road in Oakley,” a tweet said.
“The fire was contained around 4:00 pm, an estimated 1 acre burned.”
No injuries were reported.
