Two Injured In West Herriman Highway Crash, Reckless Driving To Blame

HERRIMAN, UTAH – September 14, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Two people have been hospitalized in serious condition after their vehicles collided in a reckless driving incident.

It happened around 5:30 pm at 6220 West Herriman Highway when police say two drivers refused to yield as they tried to pass each other.

The two vehicles collided causing an SUV to spin out control and slam into a utility pole.

Two people inside the SUV were seriously injured. One occupant was taken to nearby Riverton Hospital, the other was transported to Intermountain Medical Center in Murray.

There were no other reports of injuries.

Police investigators are still trying to determine who caused the accident and say charges could be pending.
