Weber County rescue crews respond to, rescue injured hiker

WEBER COUNTY, Utah, Aug. 7, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Rescue crews responded to the North Fork area of northern Weber County Tuesday afternoon after a report of an injured hiker.

The hiker had fallen in the waterfall area. Crews responding were Weber Fire 62 and 65 Crews, Heavy Rescue 41 and Weber County Search and Rescue.

“The patient was hiked out of the area and transported to McKay Dee Hospital,” a Facebook post from the Weber County Search and Rescue group said.

The shared photos below show crews reaching the injured hiker and wheeling the person out for transport to the hospital.
