SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Dec. 18, 2022 (Gephardt Daily) — A woman was found dead at a bus stop after leaving a Salt Lake City hospital Sunday morning.
The woman was found at a bus stop near 100 South and 1000 East about 7:18 a.m., Utah Transit Authority spokesman Carl Arky confirmed.
The woman was wearing a medical bracelet from Salt Lake Regional Medical Center when she was found, Arky said.
Reports from first responders indicate the woman died from hypothermia. Police are investigating how long the woman had been at the bus stop, he said.
The Salt Lake City Police Department is investigating the death, Arky said.

Not surprised I complained to IHC when they threw my nephew out in the streets. He was in the IHC parking lot after they threw him out and security threatened him saying they were gonna call the cops. His battery was dead! We found him almost dead and took him to the other hospital
This is a very sad issue I also had an issue with the U of U a few years back
I was taken there by ambulance they thought I was having a heart attack
When the figured out that was not what it was (but gave me no answer to what it was that made me feel so badly) They released me to go home
Only one problem the ambulance had brought me there and now it was 3 AM I had no money for a cab with me I could not reach anyone that time of the morning
After I sat there in the waiting room trying to reach someone or figure something out I was approached by security and told to leave. Or they were calling police All I could think is WHAT? How can you do this
It was wintertime and even if it had not been a woman out on the streets that time of night trying to get home was a scary thought for me
What was funny is right after I reached someone who was awake and they told me they would come get me and take me home security let me wait inside But that was not allowed when I was trying to find a ride home not until I had secured a ride then it was ok
I still to this day think they were so rotten to do that They are supposed to be caring and concerned Instead I guess they could not get any money on my behalf and threw me to the street
