NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. – Dec. 17, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Caitlyn, the 2-year-old Staffordshire mix who gained worldwide attention last July after a video showing her muzzle taped shut went viral, now stars in a second video that chronicles her recovery.
The piece, posted by Barkbox, Kay Hyman, of the Charleston Animal Society, shares Caitlin’s journey to back to health.
The dog’s owner, William Leonard Dodson, 41, of North Charleston, is still awaiting trial and faces a maximum prison sentence of five years and a fine up to $5,000, according to South Carolina state law.
