BROXBOURNE, England, March 15 (UPI) — A red panda cub at a zoo in the UK became a viral hit for the various faces it makes while snacking on bamboo leaves.
The Red Panda Network shared a series of photos to Facebook, showing Teajmunn the red panda enjoying the bamboo snack.
“This little red panda Teajmunn at Paradise Wildlife Park, UK, has the best bamboo eating faces we’ve ever seen!” They wrote.
The photos show Teajmunn’s mouth raised in what resembles a smile as he munches on the bamboo leaf. His eyes also begin to close as he bites down in an apparent show of ecstasy.
Red pandas are an endangered species and are also known for eating fruit, small mammals, birds and eggs, according to the zoo’s website.
