SAN ANTONIO, April 8 (UPI) — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said two people are dead at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio in an apparent murder-suicide.

Sheriff’s office spokesman James Keith said all indications are two people were involved in the shooting. Law enforcement is continuing to search building to determine if there are any other victims.

“It does appear to be a murder-suicide situation,” Keith said. “We do believe that the shooter is accounted for.”

Early on, the sheriff’s office posted on Twitter, “Deputies are still inside the building.”
