SEOUL, South Korea, May 21, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — The North Korean military is believed to have conducted another ballistic missile test.

According to a statement by South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff, the missile was fired Sunday from a North Korean test facility and flew 310 miles to the east before crashing into the Sea of Japan.

Sunday’s launch took place just one week after North Korea carried out one of its most successful missile tests date when it sent an intermediate-range missile nearly 800 miles.

A White House official traveling in Saudi Arabia with the Trump entourage acknowledged the North Korean test and noted it was the same missile system tested back in February.

Sunday’s launch is North Korea’s 10th missile test of 2017.
