Australian’s Concert Stage Dive ‘Fail’ Caught on Camera

SYDNEY, June 12 (UPI) — A concert venue in Sydney, Australia, shared a cautionary video of a stage dive “fail” that took out a camera and left the fan falling flat on his back.

Frankie’s Pizza in Sydney said a recent performance by popular Australian punk band The Hard Ons turned into a teachable moment when a fan climbed on stage and attempted to dive into the crowd, which turned out to be unwilling to catch him.

The man’s fall was recorded by the facility’s “all-seeing camera” and shared on YouTube.

The restaurant’s Facebook page said the man “actually destroyed our stage cam with his ill-guided stage diving attempts. At least we still caught the rear perspective to share.”
