Great White Shark Filmed Eating Whale Carcass Off N.Y.
FREEPORT, N.Y., June 19 (UPI) — A man boating about 30 miles offshore in New York state captured cellphone video of a large great white shark feeding on a whale carcass.
Johnny Beau, who shared the video on YouTube, said he and his friends were boating about 30 miles off Jones Inlet in Freeport when they came across the large great white feeding on the remains of a “stranded whale.”
Beau estimated the “massive” great white was about 12 feet long.
